Copying a report

Use the Save a Copy feature to copy a report. Once you have copied a report, you can relink the report's underlying data in order to visualize the newly-selected data using the original, copied components.

Use the following steps to copy a report and modify data links:

  1. Display the report you want to copy.
  2. On a report layout, click the report Settings icon and click Save a Copy. The new report appears with a title that includes Copy of and the original report name.
  3. In the newly-created report, click on the title and change the title of the report.
  4. To modify the underlying data, click Add Report Data. The Report Data page displays, showing the data used in the report, the components using them, and the Link/Value for each.
  5. Modify the Link/Value cell for each point of the original data series. Repeat until all point references have been modified.
  6. Click Layout to view the updated report with the new data.
  7. Click the Save icon.
