Increment

The Increment column in a component data grid determines the values assigned to y-axis gridlines, or major divisions in the y-axis data series. By default, RC-Reporter automatically assigns gridlines according to how well they fit in the chart. You can fine-tune the incremental values for gridline divisions by entering a value in the Increment column.

For example, to assign y-axis gridlines to every increment of five (5,10,15, and so on), enter 5 in the Increment column for the data series that appears on the left y-axis.

Data series that share the same units will be placed on the same y-axis. If you specify the increment for one of these data series, the same increment value is applied to all data series with the same units. The Increment column only applies to data series appearing on the left y-axis.

Note: For best results, ensure that any custom incremental gridline value is easily divisible into the set of data defined in the Scaling column.
