Name

The Name column in a component data grid shows the name of the data series. This name will appear in the rendered chart if the component is configured to display a chart legend. By default, the data series name is the same as the related report data series. You can click on the name in each row to modify the data series name. Changing the data series name from the default can be helpful if the default name is cryptic or very long.

Note: Modifying the text in the Name column affects the name displayed in the chart. It does not change the points descriptor in the database.
