Scaling

The Scaling column in a component data grid displays the extents of the y-axis. Click the setting in the Scaling column to modify the y-axis scaling for that data series within the component.

Data series that use the same units are plotted on the same y-axis. You can have one, two or more y-axes in the same chart component. The first data series (or multiple data series) will be on the left y-axis. Subsequent data series with differing units will be on the right y-axis.

When you click a setting in the Scaling column, the Y-Axis Scaling dialog displays.

Complete the following boxes:

• auto — Select the auto checkbox to allow the component to automatically determine the scale of the y-axis. This setting clears any values that are set for Min and Max.
• Min — Enter a value to enforce the smallest value to display on the y-axis. This setting can also be used with Max. Entering a value for Min clears the auto checkbox.
• Max — Enter a value to enforce the largest value to display on the y-axis. This setting can also be used with Min. Entering a value for Max clears the auto checkbox.

Click OK confirm your changes.
