Adding a link to a System Group in RC-Studio

Use the following steps to create an RC-Reporter link in RC-Studio:

1. Log on to the RC-GrafxSet graphical images and services software. A license for RC-GrafxSet is required.
2. In the Isometric library, click Dashboard and then click Charts.

3. Locate the RC-Reporter component animations and download the one you want to use.

   The component animations are:

   • RC-Component-Animation-OOS-V01.rca
   • RC-Component-Animation-S-V01.rca

   For RC-Component-Animation-OOS-V01.rca, the text is not scaled if you disproportionally scale the animation, that is, the text will not distort. This works best if you need to change the aspect ratio of the animation.

   For RC-Component-Animation-S-V01.rca, the text is scaled if you preserve the aspect ratio of the animation. The text distorts if you disproportionally scale the animation, that is, if you do not preserve the aspect ratio.

4. In RC-Studio, open a System Group configured as enhanced.
5. Insert an animation in the System Group, then in the Edit Animation dialog box select the RC‑Reporter component animation file that you downloaded.
6. While still in the Animation Edit dialog box, enter the RC-Reporter URL associated with the chart (available in the Manage Component Links page) and click OK to close the editor. The RC‑Reporter chart will display in the System Group.
