Creating links

The following information describes the steps for creating a URL link for a component by using the Copy Component Link option is RC-Reporter, and then adding the URL link for the component in RC-Studio.

Use the following steps to create an external URL link:

1. Click the component's Edit icon in the component's banner.
2. Click Copy Component Link.

The URL link for the component is added to the Manage Component Links page and to the system clipboard. You can test the link by pasting it into a browser's address bar. See The Manage Component Links page for more information.
